Monday, July 20, began with our first orchestra rehearsal, followed by chamber music and solo lessons and more rehearsals.
A full first day filled with inspiring musical encounters and discoveries.
The day concluded with a marvelous performance by the world-renowned piano duo, the Jussen Brothers, who captivated the audience with works by Mozart, Schumann, Ravel, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff.
What a wonderful way to open the 28th edition of the festival!
Tonight, we’re off on our traditional visit to Brussels, which, by coincidence, falls on Belgium’s National Day. Stay tuned! 😉
And here is a short video to let you experience yesterday’s highlights.
